On Monday, February 23, 2026, the 14th Pedagogical Training Course officially commenced at the University of Zakho in the presence of the Vice President for Administration and Financial Affairs, Dr. Muhammed H. Khamo, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Jassim M. Abdo, Vice President for Students Affairs Dr. Ramadhan J. Mstafa, and Director of the Pedagogical Center at the University of Zakho, Ms. Shler M. Mohammed, alongside the instructors and trainers of the course.

At the beginning of the event, the administration and instructors of the Pedagogical Center welcomed the participants, congratulated them on joining the program, and wished them success and a bright academic future. Subsequently, the course modules, tasks, activities, and overall guidelines of the training program were explained. An introductory session was also held to facilitate familiarity between the trainers and the participants, after which the lectures officially began.

It is worth noting that the pedagogical training program consists of six modules and will continue for a period of six months, during which participants will acquire contemporary methods and approaches in the fields of teaching and learning.
